Burberry Productions no longer develops and produces programs. All future Burberry development and production activity will be undertaken by the new company, Burberry Entertainment which is jointly owned with South Pacific Pictures.
Burberry Productions was active in the development, financing and production of award-winning, high-quality programs for the Australian and international markets from 2000 to 2009. In that time it produced over 160 hours of television across a number of genres including children’s series, mini-series, sketch comedy, prime-time drama and animation.

Burberry Productions also worked in the world of theatre. In 1998 Burberry principal, Ewan Burnett, produced the enormously successful theatre show Mum’s The Word in association with Artist Services. In 2004, together with John Thorne and Russell Fletcher, Burberry also produced the hilarious improvised musical show, Spontaneous Broadway. In 2006 and in 2008, Burberry produced Mum’s The Word 2: Teenagers! with Dainty Consolidated Entertainment.

Burberry programs have been awarded with one BAFTA, one Emmy®, three AFI (Australian Film Institute), four ATOM (Australian Teacher’s of Media) Awards, one LOGIE Award, and two AWGIE (Australian Writers Guild) Awards. There we also nominated for two other BAFTAs, two AFI and three LOGIE Awards.

The sole function of Burberry Productions is now to service the rights of programs produced from 2000 to 2009.
